The rain-drenched Berkshires got a reprieve for the Tuesday, Aug. 5 Tanglewood on Parade, which is the all day celebration of and benefit for the Tanglewood Music Center in Lenox, MA. New this year was the antique car show on the hill overlooking Ozawa Hall.
As always, the day ended with the Tanglewood Music Center orchestra joining the Boston Pops and the Boston Symphony Orchestra on the Koussevitsky Music Shed stage for the Tchaikovsky 1812 Overture, complete with cannon and fireworks.
