The June 2013 Tanglewood schedule is broad and deep. It shows a cleverness that makes one think that the people in the Boston Symphony programming office were challenged to entice the James Taylor demographic during the summer that JT transforms from turnstyle spinner to tunesmith. And there’s at least one program which has room for a guest appearance by Taylor, who makes his home and has his recording studio in the Berkshires, just a few miles from Tanglewood – A Prairie Home Companion at Tanglewood, with Garrison Keillor.
