How’s the weather in the Berkshires? There is no shortage of good, quick, and accurate answers to that question all over the Internet. And of course, if you’re already in the Berkshires, the answer is readily at hand! With this post, we plan to post brief videos and snapshots that demonstrate Berkshires weather conditions, on a general level and weekly. Here’s a link to ask Google for the current weather in the Berkshires.

Lenox village cold and snow during Feb. 2014

Berkshires winter 2014 has been pretty wintery as of the second week of February. We have had a couple stretches of very cold temperatures – single digits and lower with wind chill factored in. There have been a couple snowfalls of several inches, too, up to a foot in some areas. This little video was made during a lunch time walk along Cliffwood St., past the Church on the Hill, and up to Main and Walker Sts. and the Curtis, across from Lenox Town Hall.
