Williamstown Theatre Festival 2015 season schedule features performances by such celebrated actors as Kyra Sedgwick, Cynthia Nixon, Audra McDonald, and Will Swenson in a variety of plays on the Main and Nikos Stages, including several World and American premiers, as well as a production of Eugene O’Neill’s classic drama, A Moon For The Misbegotten. The WTF is located on the campus of Williams College in Williamstown, MA.

Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winner Kyra Sedgwick makes her WTF debut in the world premiere of Off the Main Road by Pulitzer Prize-winner William Inge. The play had been lost until found and reintroduced by the Inge Estate in 2008. OFF THE MAIN ROAD runs on the WTF Main Stage June 30 through July 19, 2015.

Eugene O’Neill’s final play is set in a dilapidated Connecticut house in 1923 and focuses on Josie, a domineering Irish woman with a quick tongue and a ruined reputation, her conniving father, tenant farmer Phil Hogan, and James Tyrone, Jr., Hogan’s landlord and drinking companion, a cynical alcoholic haunted by the death of his mother. A MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN runs on the WTF Main Stage August 5 through August 23, 2015.

An Intervention: A whole lot of booze, a new girlfriend, and government involvement in a foreign war are just some of the factors that threaten to drive a massive wedge between two people.
