Berkshires musician David GroverLegendary local musician David Grover will play a concert of children’s music at legendary Cambridge coffee house Passim this Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at 10:30 am, along with his band Grover’s Gang. Grover was a founding member of one of Berkshire county’s favorite bands, Shenandoah, which led to a ten year stint with Arlo Guthrie, followed by Grover’s conversion to becoming a champion for children via music and his Big Bear Band, with Terry A La Berry and Kathy Jo, which toured the country with stops at venues such as the White House and Madison Square Gardens. Grover, either solo or w/ a band, is a fixture on Berkshires schedules with gigs at the Red Lion Inn Lion’s Den in Stockbridge and summer Saturdays at the Great Barrington Bandstand.
