Berkshires street views
Article by Dave Read.
We’ve updated our Berkshires towns and cities category, using the latest mapping technology available to web developers from the clever people at Google. There are 30 towns and 2 cities in Berkshire county and we’ve created homepages for each of them. They include custom, interactive Google maps that’ll give you printable driving directions from anywhere. There are many other interesting features with the maps. You’ll also find sketch profiles of the towns, plus photos and relevant links.

Using the map: Use the “zoom” function when icons are bunched together; for directions, to get directions to anyplace marked on the map with an icon, first click the icon, then click “directions” and enter your location in the box that appears just below the map.
For street view: Grab the yellow “Pegman” icon top-left and drop it anywhere outlined in blue; then you can use the scrollwheel top-left to get a panoramic view; click the +/- to zoom in and out, or click the white arrows. Return to normal view by clicking the “x” top-right.
