Your donor, Verizon, which is my internet provider at ####### St. in Lenox, will not honor the promise of “Lifeline & Emergency Broadband Support” recently promulgated by Congress, and for which i applied and was deemed qualified. Nor can i find information anywhere about the related $100 voucher toward purchase of a new laptop computer.
You Qualify for the Emergency Broadband Benefit! Now, it’s time to sign up.
The Emergency Broadband Benefit provides a discount of up to $50 per month towards broadband service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for those on Tribal lands. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute $10-$50 toward the purchase price.
You recently submitted an application for the Emergency Broadband Benefit.
Your application has been approved. If you haven’t already done so, the next step is to sign up with a participating phone or internet company by 10/26/2021.
