Festival of Contemporary Music at Tanglewood

Augusta Read Thomas will direct the 2009 Festival of Contemporary Music at the Tanglewood Music Center. The focus will be on works by young composers, including three world premieres, and will also include works by composers not frequently heard at Tanglewood. Also, masterworks of the 20th and 21st centuries by distinguished senior composers are scheduled to be presented.
