Dalton, MA history, information, demographics

Situated just east of Pittsfield on Rt. 9, Dalton is home to the nearly 200 year-old Crane Paper Co., which supplies the cotton-fiber paper used in U. S. currency. A town that calls itself a model community in which to raise a family, Dalton has great recreational and athletic resources, including Wahconah Falls State Park.
