Lee, Mass hotels
Lee, Mass is both a gateway to the Berkshires and also a Berkshire county destination in its own right, being the location of Exit 2 on the Massachusetts turnpike, for the nostalgic charm of its downtown and for the Prime Outlets on the southern edge of town. The legendary Joe’s Diner, often mistaken as the setting for the famous Norman Rockwell painting, The Runaway, (which was set in a former Howard Johnson restaurant in Lenox), anchors the northern end of downtown Lee, while the Congregational Church and it’s impressive steeple punctuate the center of town.
