Close Encounters with Music in Gt. Barrington, Mass. is a non-profit organization providing contemporary classical performances mixed with musical commentary in a unique atmosphere.

Close Encounters with Music’s 16th season is well underway with performances at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in Gt. Barrington.

A benefit luncheon musicale is planned for November 18th at Blantyre in Lenox, Mass featuring prize-winning harpist Silvan Magen.
