Albany Berkshire Ballet
The Albany Berkshire Ballet on Fenn Street in Pittsfield opened in 1960 as a performance outlet for advanced students at The Cantarella School of Dance. With that talent The Albany Berkshire Ballet moved in a more professional direction. A second home was opened in Albany NY in 1989.
The Albany Berkshire Ballet is recognized nationally for both performances in classical and contemporary dance. Dancers have performed throughout the United States and Canada.
Upcoming events include performances of The Nutcracker during November and December in Vermont, New York, and Massachusetts, as well as a performance at First Night in Albany.
