Albany Symphony in the Berkshires - Voyages of Exploration
An early Fall event in the Berkshires is the visit to Pittsfield by the Albany Symphony Orchestra, led by musical director David Alan Miller.
Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 1., performed by Grammy award-winning pianist Peter Serkin and the world premiere of From the Depth of Distance by the Portuguese composer Luis Tinoco, are the highlights of this Berkshires fall performance at the Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield, MA.
The program, named Voyages of Exploration, opens with Beethoven’s triumphant Egmont Overture.
