Shakespeare & Company
Shakespeare & Company on Kemble Street in Lenox, Mass. was founded in 1978 and attracts some 70,000 patrons a year. Their commitment to the creative impulse provides audiences with a unique experience.
In addition to performances, theatre professionals around the world attend Shakespeare & Company’s extensive training and workshop opportunities.
Shakespeare & Company also offers a variety of youth programs which strive to bring Shakespeare into the lives of the next generation. The fall program, including the Fall Festival of Shakespeare in November, spring and summer programs, as well as the Shakespeare in the Courts program allows youth to explore Shakespeare and incorporate their own interpretation of his work into their performances.
