Aston Magna Foundation for Music and the Humanities
The Aston Magna Foundation for Music and the Humanities on Main Street in Gt. Barrington strives to increase appreciation of music from the past. Aston Magna is internationally recognized for its historical instruments, workshops, and performances which educate people about the cultural, political, and social issues prevalent when the music was composed.
Aston Magna just completed their 35th summer season in the Berkshires and is the oldest annual summer festival of its kind in America.
The current winter/spring series starts on October 27 with a performance entitled J.S. Bach and His Compatriots. During this series, for each adult ticket purchased two children ages six to 12 may attend for free.
