Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center schedule

The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center schedule for fall and early winter 2009 includes an interesting variety of concerts, performances, and cultural entertainment events for the refurbished theatre in Great Barrington, MA (see map).

Among the highlights are: concerts with Rickie Lee Jones, Jane Monheit, John Pizzarelli, and Empire Brass; performance by Shangri-La Chinese Acrobats; an episode of Symphony Space’s Selected Shorts featuring Yiddish writers and actors John Shea and Isaiah Sheffer; “Live in HD” broadcasts of the Metropolitan Opera and TimesTalks with John Irving and Stephen King.
